Cedar Forests & Berber Villages

You will them move on to the colonial hill and garden city of Ifrane, known as the “Swizerland of Morocco”.

Ifrane is mainly a winter ski resort and a summer hideaway for rich Moroccans wishing to escape the hustle and heat of the large cities. It is an oasis of coolness and greenery, with European-style villas, parks and wide avenues.

You will then visit the cedar forest of ‘Azrou’. This national park is where more than 60% of the Barbary apes live. You will have a chance to take a short walk into the forest, see and feed Barbary monkeys.

Lunch will be in the town of Azrou located in the heart of The Middle Atlas region. Its name means rock in the indigenous Tamazight Berber language.
