Fes Medina Tour

Our most popular guided tour is the full day “Inside the Fes Medina” tour. This tour offers you a unique opportunity to experience this amazing ancient city.

Your visit will start at the famous Bab Boujloud (Blue Gate). Get your camera ready to capture the sights, sounds & textures of the market (souk).

As you make your way through the maze of narrow streets, keep your eyes open for hidden jewels. From the tanneries to the spice shop to the religious sites, Fes has so much to see.

You’ll definitely want to visit the Bounainia Medersa (religious school) & then to the first university built in the world called: Al-Karaouine or Al Quaraouiyine.

Al-Karaouine (or Al Quaraouiyine )is considered the oldest mosque (center, school, university) which has been continually functioning.

You’ll also explore the Attarrin, Nejjarrin, Seffarrin… where you will find the traditional artifacts handmade by the craftsmen.

Ramparts of Fes Tour

We will start our tour to the Ramparts of Fes at the most important gate of the Royal Palace; intricately designed and wonderful with mosaic and bronze.

Then, you will head to the Jewish Quarter which was established in the first half of the 14th century by the Marinids dynasty. Usually, the Jewish quarter was situated near the royal palace in order to protect its inhabitants.

One of the highlights of this tour is the spectacular panoramic view of the ancient Fes Medina. You can capture some fantastic photos from both the southern and northern fortresses (built in 16th century by the Saadians)
